The WSL are building house. That clichéd expression I hate best describes the WSL’s business model. In the past two years they have brought a level of professionalism never seen in the sport packaging content and running webcasts in a very slick fashion. Now they’re trying to take the sport global. So that means convincing the non-surfing public to get genuinely exciting about surfing. With the coverage they received Mick Fanning received after his shark attack at J-Bay and the big wave warriors charging Pe’ahi you’d think that’d be easy. But it ain’t. Enter their latest ad ‘Chaos Theory – You Can’t Script This’. It leads you on like a mystery sci-fi movie trailer interspersed with enough surfing to keep you intrigued. The WSL are definitely stepping up their game. Will it win more fans? Watch and tell us what you think.
