John takes us to surf school in his latest YouTube clip, dedicating 10 minutes to analyse the significant evolution of big-wave surfing over the last decade while subtly promoting his new wetsuit designed for tackling big waves.

Florence pretty much claims to be a self-acclaimed nerd when it comes to the theoretical aspects and scientific nuances related to big-wave surfboards and fins design.

The Hawaiian surfer also expresses his admiration for those pushing the boundaries of big-wave surfing, such as Kai Lenny.

It’s enlightening to listen to him nerd out whilst the clip showcases highlights of him charging alongside some of the world’s best big-wave surfers.
