WATCH: First Proper Swell In 6 Months Hits The Superbank

The frothers from the surfing town have been twiddling their thumbs since May.

Reading Time: 1 minute

This past weekend, every Gold Coaster who owns a surfboard was in the water with a shared desire to get in a long-awaited fix. Nature’s closest thing to a wave pool had its best run of waves since May, with the Superbank pumping pretty much from last Friday to Monday. Saturday’s conditions (highlights above) was arguably the most ideal, with surfers finding themselves in some beauties around the Rainbow Bay/ Greenmount section. You know Mick Fanning was right in the heart of the Superbank hustle.

Enjoy!

Mick chose to surf his second home, D-Bah on Sunday. White Lightning was looking sharp in the fun, wedgy conditions.
