The shallow bombies that litter the offshore region of the southern West Australian coastline are responsible for contorting water like nowhere else on earth. The way these shallow chunks of granite bend and break the ocean is a sight to behold – both ultimately frightening and mesmerising at the same time. Cinematographer Tom Jennings has long been fascinated by these alluring lumps, so he recently teamed up with fellow WA shooter Chris Gurney, pilot David Adamson and the crew from Volte Wetsuits to capture the show from the air. The result is spectacular.
