Watch: A Sydney slab session at Solander

An Autumn swell hits one of Australia's scariest waves.

Clips and videos continue to fill our feeds from the epic run of swell Australia and Tasmania has been having.

The latest from Surfing Visions Youtube channel is a session from Cape Solander, also known as ‘Ours’. The wave is possibly one of the scariest slabs out there due to how close the waves break to the rocks.

The clip features some crazy barrels from both tow surfers and paddle waves. As well as a number of hard charging bodyboarders.

Tim Bonython behind the lens also gives an insight into the lengths he goes to in order to secure the best filming position for the wave. He takes viewers on a tour through the bush as he battles big spiderwebs and snakes in order to secure the land angle looking straight into the barrel.
