Who does Foo Fighters Guitarist Chris Shiflett get Surf Struck by?

Foo Fighters guitarist and solo artist, Chris Shiflett, has serious rock star cred’ but he still gets pretty chuffed when Santa Barbara surfing royalty like Tom Curren, Conner Coffin and Bobby Martinez turn up to his gigs. Our guest for the latest Tracks podcast is Chris Shiflett. Although perhaps best known as a lead guitarist with the Foo Fighters, his also an accomplished solo artist and a surfer. Chris just released his latest album, Lost At Sea and is heading to Australia for a bunch of sold-out solo shows later in the year in conjunction with a tour for the Foo Fighters. In the following conversation, we talked about Chris’s musical influences, playing Wembley Stadium in front of 170,000 people and how surfing factors into his life. Chris also shares interesting advice on how to improve your guitar playing.
