Jackson and Kelly ventured on a strike mission to Barbados last December. It was a success, with the lads heavily scoring in the Caribbean. Kelly, who has had a love affair with Barbados throughout the years, showed his godson Jackson the ropes at the world-renowned surf-break; Soup Bowl’s. I assume that only younger guys and girls can routinely surf with Kelly these days; as they can actually keep up with the GOAT’s froth levels. With stokeness coming out of his ears, Jackson was the perfect travel companion for his dad’s best mate.
The 16-year-old has inherited Shane’s attitude, mannerisms and well-known fearlessness. That was heavy Soup Bowl the duo charged in the clip. The surf spot is no joke. Parker Coffin nearly lost his eye at the break around the same period.
And just like his old man, Jackson’s surfing is freakish. I haven’t seen a grom put combo’s together so smoothly since a young John John or Gabe? With all due respect to King Kelly, Dorian Jr was victorious in these back to back sparring rounds.
Wild guess, but was that Shane and Kelly’s buddy Joe Rogan’s house while they were in layover and waiting for a flight in Texas? Look into it.
