WATCH: Kelly Slater in ‘Lost Tapes’

"Surfing's always been a young man's sport."

Kelly Slater & the WSL have released to the public part one of Lost Tapes. A series that was supposed to be a 12 part documentary on what we thought would be Kelly’s last season on the Championship Tour in 2019.

The GOAT takes us into his training camp as a 47-year-old before the CT season started at the Gold Coast. We get a behind the scenes look of Kelly’s time at his second home on the Goldy which includes hanging with his Aussie mates, underwater training, pilates and golf.

Surfing’s closest thing to Superman intimately shows he too has self-doubts as an eleven time world champion and that he clearly has a photographic memory when it comes to the critics and what they say.

Enjoy!

For more on the GOAT check out our Q& A with Kelly after the Margaret River Pro Tracks chatted to Kelly about his epic victory at Pipe, his challenges in the competitive jersey at 50 years of age, his experience at the 94th Academy Awards, his transformation over the years and much more
