Putting together a team of surfers to go on a strike mission is like putting together your best 11 for a cricket or soccer game, you have to get the combination and chemistry right.
O’Neill certainly did that in their latest episode of “Strike Missions: Destination Known”.
The trip to some well-known spots in East Indo features a combination of stalwart world tour surfers Jordy Smith and Johanne Defay, Caity Simmers, who is one of the faces of the Gen-Z charge attempting to take over female surfing as well as former tour surfer Soli Bailey and Eli Beukes, Gui Ribeiro, Winter Vincent and Noah Wegrich, who all have their own style and some form of aerial prowess.
That air game is on full display during the edit, which is unlike your usual Indo edit that is usually filled with tubes.
The team makes the most of the Indonesian trade winds and can be found lofting themselves above the lip for a large part of the video.
