When the John John Youtube notification pops up, you stop what you’re doing and watch. Just like when he’s healthy with the CT jersey on, the man doesn’t miss when it comes to his content. John’s new edit is a session at the sandbar just outside his home. The North Shore surf crew call it the ‘Slot Machine’, while his shaper Jon Pyzel refers to it as the board destruction sandbar, and in this clip you see why. Like obsessed gamblers chasing the dragon on the pokies, even this all-star crew has a slim chance of making these hefty nuggets. But if you can wrangle the diabolical take-off and pull into a below-sea level cavern, you do have a chance to hit the barrel jackpot. Only Kelly and John looked to be having consistent success out there. Looks like a lot of fun if you’re a world champ surfer, but I would be getting the boog out for this sesh.
