For us East Coasters, a sunburst moment like this could only happen in the early hours of the morning. The sun poking its head above the horizon and warming our faces is the way we welcome in a day of surfing.
But Dillon Perillo isn’t on the East Coast here, he’s in West Oz, and over there, these superb orange hues are a final salute to a day spent wave riding.
If you ask us, both are an awesome way to pay tribute to a day spent in the water, we’d just love to try and nail the double one day, surf an early in the Pacific on the East Coast, before jumping a plane and seeing out the day in the Indian ocean in the Wild West. Can it be done?
