A stacked bunch of Oz icons and legends went head to head at Coolangatta Tweed Heads Golf Course today to raise much-needed funds for those impacted by the devastating Northern Rivers floods.
After Mick took part in rescue operations during the March 2022 floods in Northern NSW and witnessed the destruction, he became inspired to continue the relief efforts. And so, the idea of The Mick Fanning Charity Golf Day was created, a fun, interactive, and memorable golfing experience that will help families and communities rebuild.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will be going directly to those who have been impacted by the floods with the help of GIVIT, Human Nature and Hands on Heart
“The Mick Fanning Charity Golf Day started as a way to help raise money for those affected by the 2020 floods in The Northern New South Wales region. It’s been 3 years now and still, there are so many people, families, and businesses in need of help,” said Mick Fanning.

The team behind the day are also holding an auction where bidders can win a number of prizes including a year’s supply of Balter Beer, a VIP experience at the 2025 CT Bells comp with Mick himself, a VIP experience with DJ Fisher and more.
