Sao Paulo local goofy-footer gives Bells Beach lip a colourful broad stroke.

FREE WALLPAPER: Miquel Pupo flicked the black wetsuit thing this morning for an inside Bells Bowl session. On the eve of the Rip Curl Pro the Brazilian hot-rat, on a borrowed board from Yadin Nicol, flashed his fully loaded easel for Tracks photographer Nate Smith who was shooting from the water. The turn wasn’t nearly as flashy as the get up but it was all class. High-speed lip-line pump re-entry the catapulted the South American into the double up section perfectly positioned for a back foot roar… Bells bowl is built for such backside handy work (just ask Occy). Question is; can a goofy footer win the 2012 event and break the 14 tear drought?
