“We wanted to make a cold water feature surf film that was more about surfing than the adventure of exploring in the cold,” announces Ben Gulliver, the man behind The Seawolf.
And it’s true. Often surf films set in frigid locales focus more on the undeniably beautiful landscapes, and the mission to get to the surf rather than making the actual surfing the star.
That’s why the eight surfers involved with this film spent two years travelling the globe on perpetual strike missions to different cold water locations with the aim of showcasing the waves and the surfing.
With a cast including Chippa Wilson, Pete Devries, Balaram Stack, Noah Cohen, Oliver Kurtz, Cam Richards, Noah Wergich and Josh Mulcoy, you can expect surfing of the highest order.
The Seawolf will begin touring next month. For more info click here.
