Peterson knocked off Aussie Sally Fitzgibbons in the second semi, thwarting a chance at an all Aussie final.
The victory also sees Peterson pass Australian Steph Gilmore on the Championship leaderboard, with Gilmore losing to Tatiana-Webb in the quarters.
The next WSL event, the Open J Bay, runs from July 6-16 in South Africa.
