Down here in the southern Hemisphere we’re starting to feel the icy grip of winter creep up our leg. It’s the time of year when core surfers and chargers cheer. The reefs begin to turn on and bigger swells are fired our way from the Southern Ocean.
In Ireland it’s always winter as far as surfing’s concerned, and the surfers there are always charging. It takes a special breed to take on the dark beast of Mullaghmore when it’s in full cry, but here we watch Conor Maguire and co. giving it hell.
