Each time I sit down to write about the current state of women’s surfing, I often find myself running out of hyperbole’s to describe just how exciting it is. The gen-z charge is currently being spearheaded by the likes of Caity Simmers and Erin Brooks who are elevating the level of women’s surfing both in the tube and the air while competing on the biggest stage of them all; the WSL CT. You have the likes of Laura Enever, Anne Dos Santos and others pushing the envelope in XXL surf. All these girls are also acting as role models for the next generation who are hoping to go even bigger and better as they grow up and continue to chase their own surfing dreams.
Some of that next generation was captured in Onboard store’s latest YouTube edit ‘Yeah The Girls 3’ which features a star studded crew of hard charging young ladies who score the trip of a lifetime in the Ments. Their 10 days at HTs Resort contained fun beach breaks, rippable lets and solid second reef roll in’s at Lance’s Right.
The clip, which was filmed and edited by Ryan Williams, includes surfing from Milla Brown, Chantele Cremer, Giada Legati, Lidia Kato, Imari Hearn and Kayla Tani.
