WATCH: Torren Martyn & Albe Falzon in Thank you Mother

The 2019 film is now free for the public to watch.

Thank You Mother stars free-surfer Torren Martyn, revered shaper Simon Jones and surfing icon Albe Falzon. It’s dreamy vision with wondrous surfing from Torren in South Africa, Indonesia and Australia. The always insightful Falzon narrated the film to share the message that “surfing is about joy more than anything else.”

“It’s pretty easy. People complicate their lives and other peoples lives but it’s really simple. If we could realise what we were moving into, we wouldn’t hang onto where we are so much. And that’s the beauty of the ocean. It brings you right back into the present when you’re riding a wave,” says Albe.
