WATCH: TIM BONYTHON DOCUMENTS “THE BEST PADDLE DAY EVER” AT NAZARÉ

It takes some serious guts to surf this joint

You have no doubt heard of Tim Bonython. The master cinematographer who travels the world documenting the big wave antics of the world’s heaviest waterman. Well, he recently escaped the Australian shackles and made it across to Portugal with one thing on his mind: Nazaré, and he sure got what he was chasing. Nazaré sent monstrous, rogue teepee’s in at strange angles and a bunch of surfers with a few potential screws loose put themselves in highly vulnerable positions in the hopes of scoring the waves of their lives. Great viewing.
