WATCH: SNAPT4 FEATURING JACK ROBINSON, CLAY MARZO, ZEKE LAU AND MORE

A digital expression session judged by a 3-time world champ, the best surfer to never win a world title and the man with the most iconic post-heat interview in surf history.

The fourth instalment of Snapt is here, and it’s the biggest one yet. Snapt4 features three-minute sections from the likes of Mason Ho, Jack Robinson, Clay Marzo, Parker Coffin and heaaaaapps more as they battle it out for the 100k prize purse, and the crew went for broke. To be decided by Mick Fanning, Taj Burrow, and Bobby Martinez, the winner will be agreed upon in early December on the North Shore and will claim the coin and bragging rights.

We certainly don’t envy the judges on this one; the surfing is insane across the board, like, seriously mind-boggling stuff. Straight off the bat, relatively unknown Benji Brand sets the tone, packing some monsters at Pipe, followed by a collection of unfathomable airs by Mateus Herdy, which contrasts the silky rail surfing of Asher Pacey, who follows in the film. Jack Robinson looks very hard to beat, along with Mason Ho and Zeke Lau; these three brought the most variety in our eyes. On second thought, maybe Clay Marzo’s section is the best. It’s too hard to split, and luckily, that’s not our job. All we have to do is watch.

The purse breakdown is as follows:

  • $50k 1st
  • $20k 2nd
  • $10k 3rd
  • $10k best maneuver
  • $10k best barrel
