Nazaré is a chaotic place, which may be the understatement of the year. The big wave zone, located on the silver coast of Portugal, regularly hosts the gutsy-est of hell-man and hell-women from around the world. This week, Nazaré copped its first proper swell of the season, and Nic Von Rupp was there to have a dig. It certainly wasn’t the biggest we have seen Nazaré, and probably won’t be the biggest we see this Winter, but it is almost certainly the biggest we will see it paddled, and that counts for a lot.
High points include Nic’s rodeo ride on a jetski and a monster pit that he scored without the assistance of an impeller.
