Mr Miyagi, a famous master of Karate, once told his student ‘Daniel san wax on, wax off’ as he set out to teach him the art of Karate, albeit through unconventional methods.
Meanwhile, surfing, another art form, has its own master. Mister Midgey, of The Mad Hueys, recently set out on his own quest to teach his student Jimmi San how to surf while in search of the perfect wave at the Mandiri Beach Club in Krui, Sumatra.
The comical skit makes up part of a new surf edit from The Mad Hueys team featuring Brent Dorrington, Jimmi Hill and Lempog Jackson. The trio spent time in Krui where they linked up with Brenno’s best mate and Mandiri Beach Club’s resident filmer Lachie Mckinnon aka Mister Clips.
The crew scored back to back swells and managed to stack clips at a number of Krui’s premiere spots.
