Last week Mikey February dropped a short edit from Morocco that featured a hollow river mouth left, the exact opposite to what you expect from the land of right hand point breaks.
This week, the stylish South African has released a third installment of Moroccan adventures and this time it is much more typical of a surf edit from the land of camels, dust and tagine.
In ‘Morocco (side 3)’, which was filmed by Ian Thurtell, Mikey can be seen gliding effortlessly across the big open walls that the North-African country has to offer. A real lesson in how to surf with power, but also style and grace.
Mikey continues to compliment his surfing with songs from Ethiopian keyboard player Hailu Mergia, a fitting match given the pair’s African roots.
