It’s been an all-time week for surfers in the Goldy, with another session at pumping Snapper going down yesterday. The swell has chilled down a bit, but there were still plenty of gems coming through the Superbank. Mikey Wright and Mick Fanning were both shredding, and for Snapper Rocks standards they found themselves on a bunch of waves. Which unfortunately left a couple of frothers heartbroken. Getting burnt sucks, but I guess it’s cool if it was by Mick Fanning or Mikey Wright. It’s definitely a story to tell a 1000 times whenever you go to the pub.
