“I just pound it up this lane and people just go on the side,” said Mason Ho as he sat in the fast lane along the Australian highway. Only for it to cut to a clip of Mase being pulled over by an angry looking policeman. Clearly, no one warned the Hawaiian about NSW’s strict driving laws. When Mase wasn’t copping speeding fines, he spent his time in Australia doing the classic road trip from Burleigh to Bells chasing waves along the way.
In typical Mason Ho fashion, the waves he chases across the Australian coastline aren’t the most appealing to the average joe, as two unlucky customers found out during one particular session at a small right slab which breaks within touching distance of dry rock.
Even sister Coco Ho, and Harry Bryant chose to stay on dry land and watch on. Not a bad spot to watch the wave though.
