Mason Ho is synonymous with Mayhem Surfboards. If you’ve ever watched his YouTube Channel, you’ll know he often dedicates a few minutes each episode to giving viewers some zoomed in, tripped out board breakdown where you can’t quite figure out what’s going on. Whether its a 7″6 Pipeline tube shooter or a retro fish designed for rock hopping, Mase usually has the ‘Lost’ logo on each of them.
His latest edit is a little different. Mase had the chance to link up with alternative quiver craftsmen Ryan Burch last year and had an asym shaped for him.
“Mason Ho and Ryan Burch bumped into each other at the Uluwatu Surf Villas in Bali last year and started a chat about surfboards. Eventually Ryan ended up making Mason a surfboard that is shaped very different compared to Masons normal boards,” filmer Rory Pringle wrote.
“When the board made it all the way to Hawaii the goal was to try it in small and big surf at preferably all the iconic North Shore spots and see how it feels.”
