Entries for The Cooly Kids Classic Keg Contest have now closed and the judges will have their work cut out for them given the number of entrants over the last month. Throughout March we saw Tropical Cyclone Alfred light up Kirra for a number of days and Pipeline continued to do its thing despite it being late in the Hawaiian winter season.
Entries will be judged by Joel Parkinson, Mark Occhilupo, Dean Morrison, Bruce Irons and Colleen Deane. Winners from each division, including the filmers, will be in with the chance to win a number of prizes including, cash, trips abroad, surf equipment and more. The awards night for the event will take place at the Mantra Twin Towns in Coolangatta on 26 April.

The winning filmer in each division will also receive a $300 Euro luggage voucher from DB Journey. The surfer who wins the best overall keg throughout the contest will also win $5,000 AUD on top of their division prize. The overall winning filmer will take home an eleven night boat trip aboard the Orca Laut Charters in the Ments.
