Pulling into heaving right hand closeout post head injury while recovering from concussion probably isn’t the smartest move. But for Kai Hing, when the opportunity to get tubed came up, he couldn’t resist.
Kai has just released his latest project ‘Bakso 900’ which is his first body of work with the Afends sticker on the nose of his board. Those right hand tubes I mentioned above form one section of the film. Another includes a psycho left wedge, which looks off the beaten track.
Here’s what Kai told us about the film:
“I had been filming just on some odd trips in between my support work at home, then I signed with Afends start of July off the back of a head injury/concussion, went on a trip without being fully healed (still not) a lot of close outs on that trip which lead to more head slaps. But essentially wanted to piece the footage together and put out my first part in some time. And showcase the new partnership with Afends.”
