Sumatra is quickly becoming a favourite destination for an Indo strike mission and you can see why. Places like Krui have such a fun variety of waves from teepee beachies, slabbing reef breaks and long drawn out points.
All those options are on display in Juliette Lacome’s new edit. The young French surfer spent two weeks in Krui during May and scored plenty of fun waves.
The holiday was the perfect place to put her new XO COCO boards to the test, which are a collaboration between Juliette’s friend Coco Ho and founder of Album Surf and shaper Matt Parker. Coco’s new venture focuses on designing equipment specifically for and with women. Lacome looks right at home on the designs.
