With the world premiere of Snapt 5 just days away, its creator Logan ‘Chucky’ Dulien has dropped us one final cock tease of what’s to come. Since it was announced the fifth addition of Snapt would be the final instalment of the movie series which has helped shaped surf culture and the careers of many top level pro’s, Chucky has consistently teased us with a number of ‘B-side’ edits made up of clips which didn’t make the final cut.

So far we’ve had Clay Marzo at Desert Point, Noa Deane’s high flying antics in Aus, Ian Crane in Indo and for the final tease, Logan has released Jack Robinson’s clips which were deemed surplus to requirements. It’s astonishing that most of Robbo’s waves in the short edit were not considered worthy for the final piece. It leaves us to wonder and salivate at just how good Snapt 5 will be.

‘Snapt 5 – The Final Cut’ will premiere on 2 August at Huntington Beach during the US Open of Surfing. With an Australia tour of the film to follow in September.

This edition of the Snapt series will feature parts from the likes of Mason Ho, Harry Bryant, Noa Deane, Jack Robinson, Taro Watanabe, Parker Coffin, Clay Marzo, Asher Pacey and more. For the first time there will also be a dedicated grom section.
