Ireland is one of the toughest breeding grounds for surfers. The waters are icy cold, the air temperature is even colder, and the waves are gnarly, making for a lack of crowds in Ireland, where finding waves with just your mates is commonplace and a crowded session by Australian standards is bloody rare.
Irish pro, Gearoid Mcdaid spent some time exploring his home country and taking in the sights. Drinking pints, roaming the city and packing some heavy slabs at some of the countries most notorious waves. Like any tourist should, Gearoid documented his experience and came up with ‘Domestic Tourist’.
