What do you do when the surf is flat? Some people skate, some people just chill at the beach, others go and hit up their nearest beer garden. If you’re Australian, you likely either go fishing or play golf when there’s no waves. That seems to be a reoccurring theme amongst Aussies.
In the case of the crew involved in the Surfing Australia and Dometic Camping Challenge, that’s exactly what they did in episode three of their adventure. Some of Australia’s best up and coming surfing talent swapped their blades for rods and had a crack at trying to land some dinner. The results are pretty comical.
The crew were also joined by Australian surfing legend Owen Wright as he showed them some of the more unique surf spots in the area, which most of the group hadn’t surfed before.
