As Indonesian peak season is around the corner, we can expect to see plenty of clips dropping onto our feeds in the coming months which produce the type of surf envy that make us cancel all plans, book time off work and get on the next flight to Denpasar.

Charlie Cullen, from Aura Surf Resort, has got proceedings off to an early start with his latest edit which features pumping waves and incredible scenery. Charlie links up with the resort’s chief guide Jimmy who proceeds to get coned, on his own, at a particularly shallow section of reef.

Anyone whose visited the island before or stayed at Aura will know that Jimmy is a bit of a hell man. He’s got the place more dialed than most and would give pretty much anyone a run for their money when it comes to racking up tube time on the numerous setups the place has to offer.
