As evidenced in Dylan’s latest edit, he links up with Newcastle local Craig Anderson to score the city’s elusive Harbour Wedge. It’s a mysto wave that rarely breaks, but when it does the locals are all over it. The wave is temperamental, shape-shifting and breaks over industrial debris, but at the same time it’s hollow, heavy and you get the chance to score a deep cone in front of a busy crowd who line the harbour entrance to get a look.
The edit is also an insight into the Newcastle surf scene which is full of core characters who make up the tight-knit community which adds to the city’s unique charm.
