As you will have seen by now, Sydney was just blasted with five days of non-stop SSE swell as a result of a low pressure that built through the Tasman sea. It put an end to what has been a pretty dismal summer in terms of waves. While most of the city’s beachies were too big and out of control, Deadmans came to life. The aptly named slab has an evil step in the wave, is in close proximity to the cliff and gives surfers free chiropractic adjustments.
As our social media feeds are filled with clips of chaos and carnage from Deadies, local filmer Cal Fawle, aka Thrills and Spillz, has done us all a favour and began to compile some of his best footage from the sessions that went down across the week.
