In episode four of the Surfing Australia and Dometic camping challenge, the surfers battle it out against each other in a repeat of the 2024 ABB Grand Final. And once again, Burleigh Boardriders, represented by Isla Huppatz and Maddy Job, took the win.
The six part series sees two surfers from each boardriders club that made the 2024 ABB Grand Final held at Burleigh earlier this year take time away from their competitive schedules to explore the country’s vast coastline in search of uncrowded waves.
Surfers from Burleigh Heads Boardriders, North Shelly Boardriders, Le-Ba Boardriders and North Shore Boardriders all compete in challenges throughout the series in order to win prizes for their respective clubs.
In episode four the crew go off-piste in search of uncrowded waves and a peak to battle it out on for the tag team challenge. After two semi-final battles, Burleigh came up against the North Shore in the final and despite not having the home advantage this time around, Burleigh still managed to take the win.
