As far as building a surf team goes, Matt Parker and Album have got it pretty dialed. The Album Surf team is an eclectic mix of personalities, styles and differing approaches to wave riding that includes the likes of Asher Pacey, Jack Freestone, Clay Marzo, Victor Bernardo and Margo.

Two of their team members, Asher and Victor, recently went on a surf trip in Australia together to score waves and test out a number of boards. Victor said he ‘grew up watching’ Asher surf and the chance to create a connection with him was ‘special’. The trip was documented for the Album YouTube and the seven minute edit is a lesson in how to surf with style, without a thruster in sight.

Both Asher and Victor ooze class on a surfboard, they draw unique lines and flow effortlessly on their forehands.
