No Indo strike mission is complete without a bump or two along the way. Whether it’s missed flights, boards disappearing or one of many other factors that leads to sweaty palms and racing heart rates at the thought of potentially missing pumping waves.
In the case of Louie Hynd and Toby Mossop it was a missed connecting flight on the way to Sumatra, which led to an extra car ride, a ferry ticket and a total journey of 36 hours. However, it’s evident that it doesn’t stop them from scoring in the new Vissla film ‘Goggles’, which features footage from their trip, as well as a number of other clips from Australia.
You can read more about Louie and Toby’s Indo adventure in an excerpt from Louie’s journal here.
The edit, filmed by Darcy Ward, also features cameos from Liam O’Brien, Matthew McGillivray and Voltaire Sora.
Goggles has a bit of everything, from big blue Indonesian barrels, to fun onshore conditions when the trade winds come up. Click the link above for some serious surf holiday envy.
