WATCH: A rail masterclass at the superbank

The 2021 rookie of the year tearing up Snapper Rocks.

Morgs unfortunately was cut off the tour this year just when he was hitting some form.

The 22-year-old rebounded from the demotion at the challenger series event at Snapper and was a standout in the comp before being eliminated the round of 16.

The Novacastrian’s rail game is world class and when Morgs brings it all together at a right-hand point like Snapper , it’s simply a masterclass.

Morgs commits 100% to each turn and hits each section with vengeance. His surfing in the clip is a fusion between his mentor Mick Fanning and free-surfer Mitch Crews.

Morgs will be hard to beat on the challenger series this year and will hopefully rejoin the Aussie “mongrel crew “on the CT in 2023.

Dan Scott behind the lens is always good entertainment.

Enjoy!
