WATCH: A behind-the-scenes look into Koa Rothman’s CODE RED 2.0

What really went down on July 13.

One of the surf vlog kings Koa Rothman was in the mix at what arguably could have been the biggest day ever out at Teahupo’o.

Yes, it did happen, surfers were attempting to ride 100-foot mutant slabs. Himself with his Hawaiian bro and fellow mad man Billy Kemper rode some of the biggest waves ever at the big-wave spot.  Koa shares a behind the scenes look at his approach on the historical day and all the carnage that went down. Fortunately, his vlog filmer could get out there to get another angle of the madness!

Koa spent nine hours in the line-up which was nearly demolished at the 9:42 mark.

Enjoy!
