To help with your Monday scaries, here are five minutes of Andy Irons shooting a film for Sonny Miller in Indonesia back in 1997. It doesn’t feature hectic conditions for Indo standards, but just a bunch of waves from some chilled days of surfing throughout the trip. It’s quite peaceful to watch Andy tear up these fun conditions on his iconic backhand, and the rail-game master’s use of bigger boards is also refreshing viewing in this modern era.
Shout out goes out to Nalu TV for re-mastering this trip down memory lane, cos we still miss AI a lot.
Enjoy!
