We are seeking writers who are plugged in to the world of surfing as both a sub-culture and a professional sport. Scribes with the capacity to respond quickly to current events and also deliver an original take on classic surfing themes.
The current Australian leg of the WSL tour should be an ideal source of inspiration. Give us your views on the action, the sideline antics and the players in the game. However, don’t be afraid to go outside the WSL sphere if you want to comment on broader surfing issues. Boards, free surfing , locations, surf politics and people etc.
Submissions should be between 300 and 600 words and focus on engaging copy, and subjects that will create an audience and generate an audience following.
