Tracks Photography Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction
    • These terms and conditions govern the participation in Tracks Photography Challenge (the “Competition”) organized by Tracks Media Pty Ltd and Surfing Australia.
  2. Eligibility
    • The Competition is open to females only
    • Employees of Tracks Media and Surfing Australia their families, agents, or anyone else professionally connected with the Competition are not eligible to enter.
  3. Entry Period
    • The Competition begins on Saturday 22nd June and ends on Sunday 23rd June at 12.00pm. Entries must be submitted by 12pm Sunday 23rd June, 2024. Entries submitted after the closing date and time will not be considered.
  4. How to Enter
    • Participants must submit their photographs via https://forms.gle/G9VmTmrdBsndQSkh8
    • Each participant can submit a maximum of one photo per category.
    • All entries must include entrants full name, email, contact number and photo must be labelled clearly with category and photo name
  5. Entry Requirements
    • Entries must be original works of the participant.
    • Photos must be taken at Kingscliff, NSW during the Seas the Day Festival between Saturday 22nd June until Sunday 23rd June, 2024.
    • Photographs must not have been previously published or won any other competition.
    • Entries must be in jpg
    • No watermarks, signatures, or any other identifying marks are allowed on the photographs.
  6. Judging Criteria
    • Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality, adherence to the theme, technical quality.
    • The judging panel will consist of Tracks team members Kate Allman (Tracks Senior Writer), Damian Martin (Tracks General Manager), Ben Bugden (Tracks Art Director) And Luke Kennedy (Tracks Editor)
    • The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. Prizes
    • The prizes for the Competition are as follows: A 12 months subscription to Tracks Magazine (Valued at $99.99) for each photo category and one winner for best photo who will win a Tracks Arcadia Twin Surfboard valued at $1,375 and an editorial feature in Tracks Magazine issue #599.
    • Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.
    • The Organizer reserves the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  8. Copyright and Usage Rights
    • Participants retain the copyright to their submitted photographs.
    • By entering the Competition, participants grant the Organizer a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and publish the photographs in connection with the Competition and for promotional purposes.
    • Credit will be given to the photographer wherever the photograph is used.
  9. Liability
    • The Organizer accepts no responsibility for entries lost, damaged, or delayed in transit.
    • The Organizer is not responsible for any technical issues or problems with internet connectivity that may impact the ability to participate in the Competition.
  10. Personal Data
    • By entering the Competition, participants agree to the collection, retention, and usage of their personal information in accordance with Tracks Media’s Privacy Policy.
    • Personal data will be used solely for the purposes of administering the Competition and will not be shared with third parties without the participant’s consent.
  11. Disqualification
    • The Organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms and conditions or engages in any conduct that may bring the Competition into disrepute.
  12. Modification of Terms and Conditions
    • The Organizer reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any amendments will be published on www.tracksmag.com
