Australia’s most storied surf title is putting the party back on the map, pairing the nation’s best bands with its best waves for a tour built on nostalgic, rebellious surf culture and good times.

The Tracks Party Tour is set to return for 2026/27 with a 10-leg national run kicking off in October 2026 and wrapping up in May 2027.

Since our first issue rolled off the press in October 1970, we’ve grown from a counterculture broadsheet produced on Sydney’s Northern Beaches into the most-published surf magazine in the world, with over 600 issues to our name. We aim to provide a authentic voice and pride ourselves on being a title that has always run closer to the culture than the industry.

It’s that pedigree that gave rise to our Tracks Party Tour, which first hit pubs and surf clubs around the country in the early 2000s, becoming a fixture on the calendar for a generation of surfers before disappearing for the best part of eight years. The tour made its comeback in 2024, picking up right where we left off with a run of shows that proved the appetite for a proper Tracks Party had never gone away.

Five parties later, the concept had struck a nerve all over again. In 2025, the tour more than doubled in size to 10 stops, deliberately timed to land alongside major Australian surf events including the Rip Curl Pro at Bells Beach, Newcastle Surfest, the Noosa Festival of Surfing and the Snapper Pro on the Gold Coast. Several stops, including Burleigh and an Easter double-header, sold out within weeks.

That momentum has now carried into a full national tour for 2026/27, with ten legs running from October through to May again following the surf calendar around the country and putting Tracks Parties in the same towns as the world’s best surfers when they’re in Australia to compete.
