Soli Bailey lighting up around home

Who does Occy think he is dropping in on the Byron Bay shredder?

We haven’t seen or heard much from the 26-year-old following his departure from the tour in 2019. The Byron local will not be on the challenger series this year and when you have waves like this at home, you can understand why.

The clip was filmed and edited by the talented Thomas Crews or as he goes on Instagram ‘moophr’. Thomas is the younger brother of former CT competitor and free-surfer Mitch Crews. There are some similarities between Soli and Mitch; both good looking, possess a crazy-rail game and seem to not give a shit about the CT.  Could be why the dynamic between Thomas and Soli in this clip is so good.

Soli with his impeccable timing and carving ability through the lens of Crews plus a quality soundtrack is top-notch content.

The footage is filmed at empty Northern NSW beach breaks, the circus at Snapper Rocks and pristine Angourie.

Big flex around the 2:20 mark, Soli gets a ten second barrel, comes out with the spit and guess who dropped in on him- none other than Mark Occhilupo.

Enjoy.
