Well folks,
It was Thanksgiving here a couple of days ago, where all the local family graciously open up there doors to all visiting surfers, it is a feast like no other, I still have not eaten since.
Anyway stories were swapped and the beers flowed cold and crisp, just as well as the surf is no flat with only small knee to waist high waves being ridden if your keen.
Since its been flat I’m hearing all sorts of reports about what the surfers are doing to keep themselves busy, with a host of outdoor activities to do, such as longboarding the famous gentle rolling waves of Waikiki. I also hear a lot of rounds of golf have been played. While for the younger at heart with energy to burn, well there are a multitude of clubs, bars and sites to see if you’re up to it.
The surf forecast isn’t looking to good, so lets hope we get some swell soon… But as I write this its Stuart Kennedy’s 21st is underway so many are off to party. I’m going to stay low and watch a movie – I want to be ready – not hungover.
