Making New Tracks

A website re-design and access to every Tracks issue from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Plus, the iconic covers you can hang on the wall.

Much has changed at Tracks since we last dispatched this digital head-dip.

To begin with, The Tracks website has been completely reimagined to improve the viewer experience on an aesthetic and practical level. We suggest you play around and have fun with some of the new features.

As you scroll down keep an eye out for our pointers to Tracks Premium. Sign up and this portal can take you to the most extensive, digitized library of surfing history in the world. Right now it features every issue of Tracks from the 70s, 80s and 90s – over 360 issues.

A small selection of the 100’s of archived mags we have added to Tracks Premium.

Eventually every issue will be added but right now you can rediscover Captain Goodvibes, retrace the birth of professional surfing, read the original interviews and stories with icons like Michael Peterson, Rabbit Bartholomew and Mark Richards. You can go back and find out what was happening in surfing the year you were born. This is literally a treasure trove of surfing content that offers endless hours of immersion. The archive has been compiled in a user friendly, flick-book format. Just turn the page and take a highly-entertaining journey into the past.

Meanwhile, if you are chasing the perfect time-stamp of surfing history our Tracks covers are now available as framed prints. A Tracks cover always stirs up a heady dose of welcome nostalgia. At a glance the images can transport you to another time and place, evoking feelings and memories connected to your favourite surfing icons or most treasured surfing experiences. The alchemy of stellar photography, cutting edge design and catchy text-lines makes the covers timeless pieces of pop art. Hang them on the wall at home or work, or purchase one as a gift that won’t disappoint. Hell, grab a few and dedicate a whole wall to these perfect snapshots of surfing history.

A few of the classic Tracks covers we have added to our store.
