RIDE THIS BOARD IF…

You’re an Intermediate or advanced surfer and want a board that you can surf fast, push hard and rely on to perform when the waves are 3ft plus and firing.

UNDER THE HOOD…

The key elements that power the White Ferrari are its full rocker, foil, refined outline and deep concaves. The full rocker allows for tighter transitions. Giving you more top-to-bottom manoeuvrability in a steep wave face and a tighter turning radius through manoeuvres. I’ve refined the outline to allow a perfect balance of release and drive. while the deep single to double concave adds all the speed and lift. To control all those elements the rail foil has been refined with a mid to low rail foil. A little rounder and fuller in the front half, then foiling out to a sharp and biter in the back. Giving you catch prevention under the front foot and all the bites grip you need when pushing hard on the tail.

MITCH’S CONCLUSION…

The ACSOD ‘White Ferrari,’ shaped funnily enough by my younger brother Alex Crews, was a no-bullshit kinda board. It had a full rocker, low rails, deep concave, and a refined outline. In essence, it was a good wave blade, sharpened to be lethal in genuine surf. It was for these reasons that I made sure I rode it when the waves had push. My first session on the board was at two to three-foot D’bah wall. The wedges off the wall were punchy and the board excelled. Whilst I may be biased, it felt like it held in better than any other board on the test. Its in the pocket performance was sublime and its ability on rail faultless. I was instantly enamoured of these features: many of which were reminiscent of my typical shortboards. Among other sessions, I also rode the board in some larger beachie conditions, which it handled just as well. Alex’s boards have developed in leaps and bounds over the past few years and the ‘White Ferrari’ is the pinnacle of his craft. It’s a board that is designed to perform and it does just that. From reasonable waves to pumping waves it will enable you to push your surfing to that next level.
